Desktop Management Tools

This service delivers a variety of tools that are used by departmental technical support staff (also known as Tier Ones) to manage their desktop systems.

These tools range from software packages for individual computers such as anti-virus software to centralized tools such as Microsoft SMS which enable Tier Ones to manage and update groups of machines.

IT also provides limited direct support to student computers through the Service Desk located in the Student Union.
