You’re coughing, sneezing, shivering and – if you’re like us – feeling pretty sorry for yourself. Don’t you wish there was a better way to prevent the common cold? We do too! But here’s the good news: installing antivirus is an easy way to prevent your computer from catching a cold. Similar to human viruses, a computer virus can cause your machine to feel a bit sluggish. It spreads across computers and networks, replicating itself as it goes. If the virus is particularly bad, it can steal your banking information, credit card numbers, and other sensitive data available on your computer.

It’s a good thing OUHSC IT offers McAfee AntiVirus FREE to all OUHSC students, faculty, and staff. To download, please visit: http://it.ouhsc.edu/services/desktopmgmnt/antivirussoftware.asp.
