Policy Development

In support of efforts to protect key University information assets, manage risk, and ensure regulatory compliance, IT Security Services is overseeing development of information system security policies, standards, and procedures.

IT Security Services coordinates meetings with eight different stakeholder groups to share and discuss policies. Among these groups is a university wide policy coordination and communication committee established to help align and implement security policies with departmental business processes.
