The copying, storing, and/or providing transport of digital material in a manner which violates the copyright associated with the digital material on or through the use of any university Information System Resources is strictly prohibited.

Persons and/or Devices found to be violating the copyright of any digital material will have their network access restricted according to the Digital Copyright standard (DCS) until evidence of compliance has been obtained.

The removal of the copyrighted material, along with the file-sharing/peer-to-peer (P2P), reverse engineering, serial generators, software cracks or any other software enabling the violation of digital copyrights must be verified for all computing devices (university or privately owned) which connect to a university network per the DCS.  Failure to provide this evidence will result in the revocation of network access per the DCS.

Upon verification, the person\persons found in violation of a digital copyright must complete and sign an Affirmation of Compliance document.

Person/Persons found to be violating the copyright of any digital material as a repeat offense will have all their network access revoked according to the DCS.
